Miller Park // 26 of 30 // Where in the World is Mark Darden?

December 20, 2018 by Mark Darden

WHEN THE GLASSES ARE ON, THERE'S SOME TRAVELING GOIN' ON! Stop 26 in the " Quest For 30" baseball journey was Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Brewers faced off against their divisional rival, the St. Louis Cardinals, in a late season game with playoff implications. I got a chance to go on the field after game and check out the massive Miller Park from a players persepctive. This game also had an amazing play that would be considered as a catch of the year candidate. IT'S GAME TIME FOLKS!

WHEN THE GLASSES ARE ON, THERE'S SOME TRAVELING GOIN' ON! Stop 25 in the "Quest For 30" baseball journey was the home of the Minnesota Twins, Target Field, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their divisional rival Chicago White Sox came to town to face off againsit the Twins. I actually had two tickets for the game. I bought the first for a seat in the bleacher section and the second ticket was given to me by a guy who had an extra ticket. I had a great time at the game and this was one of the more memorable games that I've attended. IT'S GAME TIME FOLKS!

WHEN THE GLASSES ARE ON, THERE'S SOME TRAVELING GOIN' ON! Citi Field in Flushing, New York is stop 24 in my "Quest For 30" baseball journey. The hottest team in the MLB, Los Angeles Dodgers, came to town to take on the New York Mets. Citi Field is pretty cool stadium that has great amenities and great food. It was Jacob deGrom Jersey Night and it was a somewhat competitive game between the Dodgers and the Mets. IT'S GAME TIME FOLKS!

Fenway Park // 23 of 30 // Where in the World is Mark Darden?

WHEN THE GLASSES ARE ON, THERE'S SOME TRAVELING GOIN' ON! Stop 23 is the home of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park. It was a great experience to watch a game at the oldest ballpark in the MLB. It was Jackie Bradley, Jr. Bobblehead Night and I got to sit in an original seat that was made when the park opened in 1912. The game was competitive between the Red Sox and White Sox and it was cool to sing Sweet Caroline during the 7th Inning Stretch. IT'S GAME TIME FOLKS!

Yankee Stadium // 22 of 30 // Where in the World is Mark Darden

WHEN THE GLASSES ARE ON, THERE'S SOME TRAVELING GOIN' ON! Stop 22 on my "Quest For 30" was the home of the New York Yankees, Yankee Stadium. THIS WAS THE LONGEST GAME EVER! The game was plagued by rain delays throughout the afternoon and did not end until after 8 pm. At one point in the game I was only one of two people left in the bleacher section and that was a memorable experience. Yankee Stadium is a decent ballpark with some cool features. IT'S GAME TIME FOLKS!
