2019 Big Ten Football Championship // Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers

How’s it going guys and gals! It's Mark Darden with a new blog post. Today's post will recap my experience at the 2019 Big Ten Football Championship in Indianapolis. THE Ohio State Buckeyes face off against the Wisconsin Badgers to determine the champion of the Big Ten Conference. The Buckeyes captured their third consecutive Big Ten East title for the third year in a row and were looking to secure their third consecutive Big Ten Championship. Capturing the Big Ten West title in the last week of the season, the Wisconsin Badgers look to win the Big Ten crown once again.

Let's put the numbers into context. I rented a car from Budget for 3 days and it cost $121.78. It was originally supposed to be a compact car, however, the smallest car that Budget had was a 2018 Ford Fusion. It was pretty cool driving the Fusion as it had a push start and an EcoBoost engine. I spent a total of $68 to fill up the tank throughout the 3 days.

The ticket to the Big Ten Championship game was $147.85 via StubHub. Originally, the face value was $95 and it sold before the two teams were determined to play in the game. I sat in Section 145, Row 12, Seat 13 near the Ohio State tunnel and endzone. The game was a glorified home game for the Buckeyes as the O-H-I-O chant was heard many times throughout the game.

At the game, I spent a decent amount of money on food and drinks. I also spent $19.00 on beer that I accidentally caused someone to spill. It occured in the second quarter when I was cheering for the Buckeyes and I elbowed a guy coming down the aisle. I went to the gentleman at halftime to make things right and bought him and his girlfriend some beer.

Thanks for reading! I'll have one more blog post to finish out the year and review all of the sports events I attended in 2019.
